I am a horse and dog owner, and like you reading this now, I am very passionate about my animals. I have also been an equestrian journalist for 14 years, reporting on dressage, show jumping, cross country and showing, plus articles on horse training and interviews with top equestrians.

I wanted to combine my love of writing along with my enthusiasm for Photoshop. This love really came to fruition when my mare Cookie had to be put to sleep. Her tragic loss affected not just me but also my husband who bought her for me and loved her very much.

In my sadness I decided to design a collage tribute on Photoshop not just for her but for those people that looked after her who would also miss her. It was somehow consoling, brought closure yet also awakened beautiful memories that I can visually and mentally treasure forever this gave me the idea for ‘Reflections of Equus’.
